“When starting cooperation with TORPAL we had just begun the development of MOYO retail chain. We had already worked with the company which elaborated the retail chain concept, including the shop equipment concept. We were searching for a manufacturer with enough production and technological capacities for manufacturing such equipment. We held a tender with participation of several manufacturers. They were evaluated according to a number of criteria, i.e. manufactured equipment quality, production time, and prices.
Then TORPAL was the only company producing individual advanced shop equipment on a commercial scale. This commercial approach to manufacturing allows to set adequate prices and terms for products manufacturing.
We already had experience working with shop equipment and knew the market well along with what is worthy to focus on. We visited production facilities of all the tenderers, checked the availability of all production process stages necessary for our equipment and the dependence on contractors.
As a result, we decided in favour of TORPAL for all specified parameters.
Nevertheless, time of equipment manufacturing was the key point for us to make choice. Other suppliers participating in the tender offered similar prices, but they were focused on production of individual items and were not able to apply industrial approach.
Our expectations of this cooperation were justified. During our cooperation we evolutionarily developed a scheme which included preliminary production of a “model store” that allowed to reduce the production time of each specific item.
In addition, we were very pleased with cooperation in the field of mutual design activity aimed to improve our equipment. The developer and TORPAL engineers cooperate in development of optimum design solutions.”
